This is 57 y.o man from the Dayton,Oh area who wanted Gynecomastia surgery at the Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery. He had lost a significant amount of weight and was now left with a lot loose skin. He chose the Level III option which means that first we take out all and any fat there is, then we remove any extra skin. This does leave a scar (straight across the crease and then around the nipple). The scar usually heals very well. This patientŐs picture after his Gynecomastia surgery was taken 6 weeks after surgery. This means that his scar is still very fresh and will take about 1 year before it is much less noticeable. Level III Gynecomastia surgery will also move the nipple up and make it smaller, if you want.
