This patient is a 58 year old woman from Saint Albans, West Virginia. She came to see the plastic surgeon, Dr. Bivik Shah after she had lost weight all over her body and wanted to get rid of the excess skin. After her consultation at the Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery, she decided to proceed with a belt lipectomy. A belt lipectomy is performed usually after losing a lot weight from gastric bypass surgery or on your own.
