This is a 30-year-old young woman from Columbus, Ohio who came to the Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery to enhance the appearance of her buttocks. She had a couple options to choose from. After meeting with the board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Bivik Shah, they decided upon fat grafting to the buttocks. Within this procedure the patient has liposuction to desired areas of her body. This patient had liposuction to her love handles (flanks). The fat that is removed from the liposuction is then injected into the buttocks and shaped by Dr. Shah to give her the look she was desiring. The patient will experience some swelling after this procedure that can last up to six months. After this time, you will be able to see the results at their best! The after photos here were taken just 1 month after surgery.
