This 21 year old woman came to the Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery for a Rhinoplasty (Nose Job). She had been unhappy with the appearance of her nose for quite some time. As you can see in the before pictures, her nose slightly veers to the left of her face and she has a hump. These issues can lead to problems with breathing and sinuses. She met with the plastic surgeon, Dr. Bivik Shah and he spoke to her about rhinoplasty surgery. After the procedure, the patient will experience bruising and swelling. The bruising goes away usually within a week. The swelling, although it may be very minimal, can last up to a year and a half after surgery. The after photos here were taken 6 weeks after surgery. She will be able to see her results better and better as time goes on.
