This 55-year-old woman from Huntsville, Ohio came to The Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery for a Rhinoplasty (nose job). She had wanted the hump of her nose to be gone and also better shaped overall. During a rhinoplasty, a small incision is made between the nostrils under the nose. Then, Dr. Bivik Shah can go in and reshape the nose as desired. The healing process for a nose is a little bit longer than many other plastic surgery procedures. The swelling gradually goes away over the course of a year. The result will look best and everything settles in place at about a year and a half.
