This 50 year old woman came to The Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery for an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). She had undergone gastric bypass surgery prior to this and as a result she had a significant amount of excess skin and fat. Dr. Bivik Shah performed the tummy tuck and removed 9.3lbs. The after photo here was taken 5 months after surgery. Her scar is healing nicely, however over the next year it will continue to heal and she will reach that point where her scar looks its best.
