This 52-year-old woman from Beaver, OH came to the Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery to meet with the board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Bivik Shah regarding her abdomen. She was unhappy with the appearance of her belly for quite some time. She had some extra skin and tissue in her abdomen that was not appealing to her. The only way to tighten up and tone this area is to completely remove the excess skin. That’s exactly what Dr. Shah did! The incision is made from hip to hip and right along the panty line – so it is easy to hide. The tissue and skin is dissected, the excess skin and fat is removed, leaving the patient with a very smooth and well- shaped abdomen. The patient is showcased before and 3 years post op.
