This woman is a 36 year old from Circleville who had been dissatisfied with the appearance of her belly (abdomen) for quite some time. She came in to The Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery to meet with the board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Bivik Shah to get more information about a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty). He described to her all the aspects of the procedure and she had decided to get scheduled. Within this procedure, Dr. Shah makes an incision from hip to hip. He then removes the excess skin, tightens the abdominal muscles, and pulls the skin nice and tight! This patient had a total of 8.6lbs removed from her abdomen with this procedure.
