This 53 year old woman from Columbus, Ohio came to see Dr. Bivik Shah to talk about having a body Lift. This patient had gastric bypass surgery and lost over 100 pounds. She has had a belt lipectomy at the Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery. This is sometimes called a circumferential body lift or lower body lift. The incision goes all the way around. These pictures are 4 months after surgery. To give you an idea of how much skin was removed, you can see that the scar on the upper right side or her body has been completely cut out!
