This is a 34 year old woman who has lost a tremendous amount of weight and would like the skin from her arms removed (her “bat wings”). This procedure is called a brachioplasty or armlift and was performed by the surgeon, Dr. Bivik Shah, at the Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery. These pictures are 7 months after surgery. The incisions on her are already starting to fade and after about 1 more year, they will be barely visible.
