This 47 year old woman came to The Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery for an Abdominoplasty. She did have gastric bypass years prior to her visit here. As a result of her gastric bypass surgery she was left with a significant amount of weight and sag on her abdomen. This weight had become a problem for her and she found it very difficult to find clothes to fit her comfortably and overall, she was unhappy with her appearance. She met here with Dr. Bivik Shah and he discussed the options with her. Together they decided that she would greatly benefit from a fleur de leis tummy tuck in which the excess skin is removed up and down as well as side to side. With this, her skin is pulled tight for a nice smooth look! The after photo was taken 2 months after surgery and the scar will continue to heal over the next year and a half before it looks its very best!
