This 32 year old woman from Westerville, OH came to Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery for lip augmentation. She had been unhappy with the fullness of her lips and wanted a more “plump” look. She met with the board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Bivik Shah and they discussed the multiple options we offer at the office. Together they decided that a temporary lip filler, Juvederm, would fit her best. This filler is directly injected to the lips (or other desired areas) after the face is numbed with local anesthetic. Juvederm can last anywhere between 6 months to a year. The after photos of this woman were taken immediately after Juvederm was injected.
