This 36 year old woman from Columbus, Ohio came to meet with the board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Bivik Shah, to discuss her unhappiness with the fullness under her chin. There are options that can take care of this issue. Together they decided upon liposuction to the chin. This procedure was done under local anesthetic (she could drive herself home that same day!). Dr. Shah uses a small liposuction canula to remove all the unwanted fat from her chin through an incision smaller than a pencil eraser! There is swelling that comes after the procedure and maybe some bruising, however, you’ll be healed within 6 weeks after the procedure! The after photo here was taken 7 months after surgery.
