This 40 year old woman came from Logan, Ohio to the Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery for a mini-abdominoplasty (mini-tummy tuck). This procedure requires an incision along the lower abdomen (just like a C-Section scar) which is easily hidden by underwear or bikini bottoms. Then, the excess skin is removed and the remaining skin is pulled tight to leave the belly with a smooth, flat look. As you can see here in the after photo, the patients tattoo placement appears a little lower on her abdomen and you can see how much of the tattoo has been removed. The after photo was taken one year after the procedure.
