Before + After Photos

This 44 year old African American man from Dayton, Ohio came to the Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery with concerns about the appearance of his nose. He had been unhappy with the shape and width of his nose and wanted to get more information about correcting his concerns. He met with board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Bivik Shah, and together they discussed Rhinoplasty (“nose job”). To settle his concerns, Dr. Shah performed a full Rhinoplasty with rib grafting. He made a small incision on the underside of his nose between the nostrils and worked through that incision. He used a small piece of the rib to allow the shape and width of his nose to change. He is now thrilled about his nose! The after photo here was taken 5.5 months after surgery. With a Rhinoplasty, the results will gradually show as the swelling decreases, however it takes up to a year and a half before the swelling is completely gone.
