This 37-year-old woman came to The Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery for a Rhinoplasty (nose job). She had wanted to change the overall shape of her nose. During a rhinoplasty, a small incision is made between the nostrils under the nose. Then, top Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Bivik Shah can go in and reshape the nose as desired. The healing process for a nose is a little bit longer than many other plastic surgery procedures. The swelling gradually goes away over the course of a year. The result will look its best and everything settles in place at about a year and a half. This patient is pictured before and 6 months after her surgery.
