This 33 year old woman came to The Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery for a tummy tuck. She had a lot of excess skin and fat in this area that had been bothering her. She met with Dr. Bivik Shah and he told her that the best way to get rid of this is with a tummy tuck (Abdominoplasty). This is when the excess skin and fat is cut out, the abdominal muscles are tightened, and the remaining skin is pulled tight. The after photo was taken 2 months after surgery. As with any plastic surgery procedure, the scar takes about a year and a half before it looks its absolute best!
