This patient came from Cincinnati, OH to meet with the board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Bivik Shah at the Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery to discuss her desires. She was unhappy with the excess skin and fat that hung on the underside of her arms (bat wings). Dr. Shah spoke to her about a brachioplasty (arm lift). Within this procedure the incision is made along the armpit and then down the underside of the arm – usually to the elbow. The after photo here was taken three years after the surgery (of which she had a total of two pounds of excess skin and fat removed from her arms).
