Before + After Photos

This 39-year-old African American woman from Englewood, Ohio came to the Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery with concerns about the appearance of her nose. She had been unhappy with the shape and width of her nose and wanted to get more information about correcting her concerns. She met with board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Bivik Shah, and together they discussed Rhinoplasty (“nose job”). To settle her concerns, Dr. Shah performed a full Rhinoplasty. He made a small incision on the underside of her nose between the nostrils and worked through that incision. He reconstructed the bones in her nose to allow the shape and width of her nose to change. She is thrilled with the overall result! The after photo here was taken 6 weeks after surgery. With a Rhinoplasty, the results will gradually show as the swelling decreases, however it takes up to a year and a half before the swelling is completely gone.
