“Breast Lift Without Breast Implants Before and After 6 weeks” This is a 38 year old women from Columbus, Ohio who wanted a breast lift after developing breast sag (ptosis) from breast feeding and pregnancy. During her plastic surgery consultation at the Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery, we discussed scarring in African-American or women of color patients. She decided to not have breast implants placed at the same time. However, if this patient had wanted even more fullness or more cleavage, she would have needed breast implants. Even after only 6 weeks, the scars from her plastic surgery are starting to fade and will continue to get better for about 1 to 2 years.
