This woman came to Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery to speak with the board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Bivik Shah regarding her abdomen. She had previously lost a significant amount of weight and was left with excess skin and tissue. After meeting with Dr. Shah they decided on a Fleur de Leis Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). This procedure differs from a standard abdominoplasty by adding a vertical incision as well as a hip-to-hip incision. This allows the doctor to tighten the skin up and down as well as side to side.
