This 32 year old woman came to The Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery for an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). She had been having issue with managing the excess weight that she carries in her abdomen and around her waist. The only way that she would be able to get rid of this weight is to have it surgically removed. She met here with the board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Bivik Shah, and he gave her information on the Fleur De Leis Tummy Tuck. With this particular type of tummy tuck, the patient will have a scar that run along the panty line as well as vertically up and down the midline of the abdomen which allows the skin to be pulled tight downward and from side to side. The after photo here was taken 5 months after surgery and the scar will continue to heal over the next year before it looks its best!
