This is a 24 year old woman from Zanesville, Ohio who wanted improvement of her love handles. During her consultation at the Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery we discussed all of her options and risks of liposuction. She had the surgery with IV sedation (twilight anesthesia), so she was awake but groggy and then used tumescent liposuction. We removed about a pound of fat from each side. Love handles are generally very resistant to exercise and diet, therefore liposuction is a great way to get that wonderful hourglass shape.
