This 53 year old patient from Reynoldsburg, Ohio came to see Dr. Bivik Shah because she was concerned about the lines around her mouth. She underwent a chemical (phenol) peel at the Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery. As you can see, in the before picture, even with make-up the lines were very visible. In the after picture, the lines are completely gone around her mouth. She had a phenol peel which is a very deep peel so the recovery is about 7 – 10 days.
